How do I pick the right video equipment for my church?

Last week I mentioned that I was finishing up a free resource to help churches choose their livestream and video recording equipment. Well…

Great news because I just finished up the final touches this morning. You can download The Church Video and Livestream Equipment Guide here:

I also want to provide a quick review of an item you see on each of the lists: the Rode Wireless GO II microphones.

Rode Wireless GO II Microphones

What is it?: A set of super easy to use wireless microphones that can attach to cameras, phones, and computers.

Why you need them: They are a great backup on Sundays, but even better at taking with you to shoot videos in studios, offices, or out and about. They are awesome when you have a camera and two people talking like announcements, interviews, podcasts, skits, etc.

How they impact ministry: You can record sermons or media for use during sermons. You can record Christian Ed. courses. Or you can mix things up to shoot on-location teaching.

In short, they are an awesome relatively low-cost piece of equipment for developing video based teaching and discipleship materials.
